Every year, families celebrate graduation with pride.

The photographs are taken.
The gowns are returned.
The applause fades.

Then something unexpected happens.

Months become years. Degrees remain on the wall, but many educated young adults struggle to find meaningful work, create value, or become financially independent. Parents who expected relief after years of sacrifice quietly begin asking themselves difficult questions.

What happened?

We often assume the problem is a lack of jobs, a weak economy, or inadequate education. These are certainly part of the story. But what if there is another, less visible challenge?

What if many graduates have never been taught how to transform what they know into value that the market is willing to reward?

Education creates potential.

Knowledge creates potential.

Talent creates potential.

But potential, by itself, rarely changes lives.

Value is created only when potential is activated.

That idea lies at the heart of my new documentary, The Silent Crisis of Educated Adult Children.

This is not a film about blaming parents.

It is not a film about criticising young people.

Nor is it another discussion about unemployment statistics.

Instead, it explores a quieter and more important question:

Why do some educated people convert knowledge into opportunity while others remain stuck, despite having ability, intelligence and good intentions?

The film challenges families to look beyond certificates and begin thinking about market value, responsibility, initiative, adaptability and the practical activation of knowledge.

I believe this conversation is long overdue.

Because the greatest waste in any society is not unemployed people.
