About

A Life of Many Paths.

Businessman · Researcher · Storyteller

Ideas. Stories. Human Experience.

Dr.Petero Wamala, DBA

For more than three decades I have been in business, mainly petroleum. Along the way I returned to serious academic study, researched mobility and social change, wrote books, developed courses, made films and kept asking questions.

The subjects may appear unrelated. The thread connecting them is simple:

How do people make sense of change, and what do they do with what they know?

BUSINESSMAN | RESEARCHER | STORYTELLER

A petrol station turned out to be an excellent classroom. For decades I watched people, businesses, technologies and society change around me.

Later, academic study gave me better tools for examining what I had been observing.

But I also discovered something else: I enjoyed taking serious ideas out of academic language and turning them into stories ordinary people could discuss.

That is how the researcher and storyteller came to share the same desk.

AND THEN CAME UNCLE RWAMITI

Uncle Rwamiti is my fictional village elder.

He observes education, marriage, money, technology, families and modern life—and says things I might hesitate to say myself.

He has no PhD.

This has never stopped him.

Through him, I explore serious questions with humour and everyday African wisdom.

KNOWLEDGE ACTIVATION

One question increasingly occupies me:

What happens after we know?

We have more graduates, qualifications, research and information than ever before. Artificial intelligence is adding dramatically to that abundance.

Yet knowledge does not automatically produce productive action.

My current research and practical work therefore explores Knowledge Activation—how knowledge moves from possession into value, action and ultimately traction.

Knowledge → Story → Action → Traction.

PETEROSPATHS.ORG

PeterosPaths is my intellectual home.

It brings together my stories, books, films, courses, research and public thinking across many subjects—from education and happiness to mobility, technology and Knowledge Activation.

The subjects will continue changing because curiosity does not respect departmental boundaries.

My purpose remains:

Making sense of change through ethical storytelling.

You are welcome to wander along.
