🌿 Uncle Rwamiti and the CEO Who Forgot How to Sit

One bright Kampala morning, Uncle Rwamiti found himself invited to a five-star hotel to “advise” a famous CEO who, according to his secretary, “wasn’t sleeping well since his promotion.”

When the man arrived, he was wrapped in imported anxiety: two phones, a smartwatch, and the haunted look of someone chased by his own calendar.

“Uncle,” he sighed, “I’m exhausted. I’ve achieved everything, yet I feel… nothing.”

Rwamiti leaned back, sipped his spiced tea, and asked,

“My son, when last did you watch a cock crow just for joy?”

The CEO frowned.

“I don’t have time for chickens, Uncle.”

Rwamiti nodded solemnly.

“That explains it. You are ruling companies, but the chickens are ruling you. They still wake up singing; you wake up to an alarm.”

The table went silent. A waiter pretended not to laugh.

Rwamiti continued:

“You have conquered the world, but lost your chair. Sit. Eat slowly. Let your tea cool once in a while. Otherwise, your success will file for divorce.”

The CEO laughed — the first un-scheduled laughter in months.

🌱 Moral:

Sometimes we climb so high that we forget the view was meant to be enjoyed sitting down.

Solitude is not the absence of success; it’s success learning to breathe.
